Estonian Teen Entrepreneur Launches AlphaInter OÜ to Modernize Europe’s Automotive Workshop Industry
At just 18 years old, Estonian entrepreneur Jelizaveta Šmitko has launched AlphaInter OÜ, a bold new venture specializing in the delivery of professional workshop equipment to automotive service providers across Europe. With early-stage support from EU entrepreneurship initiatives, Šmitko is proving that high-impact industrial businesses can start young — and scale fast.
AlphaInter OÜ focuses on B2B supply of essential automotive infrastructure, including vehicle lifts, diagnostics tools, and garage system components. The company serves a diverse range of clients, such as fleet operators, car dealerships, and independent repair garages, and has already established active partnerships in Germany and other key EU markets.
Šmitko’s journey into the automotive equipment space began with an internship at Bosch Automotive Aftermarket, where she gained firsthand insight into the operational challenges of modern workshops.
“That experience helped me understand the gaps — not just in tools, but in how those tools are sourced, delivered, and supported,” Šmitko explains.
Following her internship, Šmitko participated in an EU-backed startup mentoring program, where she shaped AlphaInter’s business roadmap.
“Having access to support structures and experienced advisors made all the difference,” she says. “It helped me focus the business model and move quickly.”
AlphaInter’s offering includes comprehensive procurement services, logistics coordination, and optional consulting to assist clients in setting up or upgrading their workshop systems. With an emphasis on speed, reliability, and cross-border support, the company addresses a longstanding need for efficiency in Europe’s fragmented automotive equipment market.
While Šmitko’s youth stands out in a traditionally conservative industry, she sees it as a strength rather than a challenge.
“We are a company with a fresh perspective — but also with professional roots,” she says. “What clients really care about is quality, consistency, and delivery.”
The company’s current market focus includes Germany, Austria, and Eastern Europe, with plans to expand both supplier partnerships and product offerings in late 2025.
With a combination of entrepreneurial energy, institutional support, and a sharp focus on customer needs, AlphaInter OÜ is emerging as a standout example of how a new generation of founders is reshaping even the most traditional sectors of the European economy.
