First production launch for Microsoft partner marks major milestone in Fusion5’s U.S. manufacturing expansion

PASCO COUNTY, FL – April 24, 2025 – Fusion5, a global leader in personal computing and tablet technology, today announced that its modular assembly line in Odessa, Pasco County, Florida is officially live. The facility is set to begin production of its first batch of industrial and consumer-grade Windows Tablet PCs in June 2025, marking a major leap forward in the company’s long-term manufacturing ambitions within the United States.

The newly operational facility will handle component-level device integration and final assembly of Fusion5’s latest tablet PCs and all-in-one systems. This development is the result of nearly two years of groundwork, multi-agency regulatory coordination, and strategic infrastructure investment in Pasco County.

“This milestone represents a powerful step forward for Fusion5,” said Gandhi Perla, CEO of Fusion5. “It has been a long journey since we began this project in 2023, and seeing our modular line now live, with tablets being built right here in Odessa, is incredibly rewarding.”

The Odessa facility serves as a pilot site for Fusion5’s localized assembly strategy, laying the foundation for broader U.S. manufacturing efforts. By bringing high-tech production closer to the North American market, the project strengthens supply chain agility, enhances quality control, and supports the creation of skilled jobs within the local community.

The facility features ESD-safe flooring, precision-calibrated workstations, a dual conveyor assembly layout, and lean production workflows that are designed to ensure consistent throughput and superior build quality.

“By bringing assembly operations closer to our core markets, we’re able to tighten quality control and deliver products that truly meet American manufacturing standards,” added Mr. Perla. “This isn’t just about expansion, it’s about building smarter and serving better.”

Fusion5 extends sincere thanks to the Pasco Economic Development Council (EDC), the local permitting department, our contractors, and every partner involved in making this vision a reality.

The company will continue recruiting throughout 2025 for roles in assembly, logistics, and technical operations to support increasing demand and expanded production capacity.
